Comprehensive Expression and Prognosis Analyses of ITGB1 in AML

Background: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a dangerous type of leukemia. The emergence multidrug resistance (MDR) and recurrence limits the prognosis survival patients. In recent studies, we have known that bone marrow microenvironment was closely related to poor AML. However, underlying mechanisms are still far from fully understood. By utilizing bioinformatics analysis, screened out integrin B1 (ITGB1) as hub gene, which associated with mediated changes AML cells, expression profile GSE73157 downloaded National Center for Biotechnology Information-Gene Expression Omnibus (NCBI-GEO) database. Methods: R studio software used screen candidate genes further visualize differential expression. package ‘limma’ find differentially expressed (DEGs). Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathway were conducted by “clusterProfiler”. Furthermore, protein-protein interaction (PPI) network also performed online tool STRING Cytoscape. Last but not least, tools PrognoScan GEPIA utilized evaluation clinical significance selected gene. P Cox p-value <0.05 considered be statistically significant. Results: ITGB1 filtrated only gene in this profile. We found patients high had significantly longer overall (OS) than those low (COX p-value= 0.016730). Besides, lower normal people (p-value<0.01). Conclusion: identified key down-regulated patients’ outcomes. may potential marker predicting guiding treatment.
